Draft. Amber beer with a thin white head. Thinner beer with a malt/grainey aroma. A bit of a citrus flavor on the end, but mostly just light, crisp, and refreshing.

Bottled. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma of roasted maize. Very watery beer with weak weak taste of malt. Better than Corona Extra though...

On tap at Agave restaurant, Ottawa. Reddish amber beer with a thick off-white head, hyper foamy. Light malty aroma, non-descript. Sweet caramel malt in mouth with light woody notes.

Bear in a clear bottle is not my favorite, and in this bear you can taste the sulforic compounds, maybe on a hot summerday?......

Canned, poured into glass. It’s not too bad for what it is, yet another pale lager, which isn’t much in the first place. Pours a decent thick head. Color is almost a decent golden pilsener. Taste is bland at first, but begins to reveal a little malt character and a suggestion of German hops. At least it goes well with Mexican food, and yes, with a touch of lime. But you wouldn’t want to drink this by itself. (Somewhere in Mexico someone is brewing great beer... and they must be keeping it for themselves.)

Bottle. Pale straw color with a little white head. A little spice in the aroma and flavor, but otherwise not much. Very crisp and refreshing.

This is an unexciting Lager, much better fresh in Mexico than what arrives here, but unexciting nevertheless. There are better Mexican beers than this one.

Appearance is amber, with very little head. Smell is sweetly grassy and malty. Taste is a bit metallic, but not overwhelming. Nothing extraordinary here. Drinkable, but not something to enjoy.
