Description
Waterloo Beer is brewed with care in the Mont-Saint-Jean farm, the famous 'English Hospital' of the Battle of Waterloo. More than ever, this high-quality beer is a symbol of authenticity, craftsmanship and courage. In 1815, during the famous conflict, the troops were supplied with high-fermented beer that gave them strength and courage to face each other. Two centuries later, Anthony Martin is proud to revisit this moment in history by reviving the local beer quality, prepared strictly according to the original recipe: Waterloo – beer of bravery!

330mL bottle, pours a hazy golden yellow with a big white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, banana and clove. Flavour is citrus and yeast. Palate is dryer for a tripel. Very solid, just doesn't stand out amongst all the other unique tripels out there.

Bottle at a blind tasting. Thanks Shachar! Hazy golden-yellow with a white head. Aroma full of fruity esters - apples, banana, some citrus and more. Flavor begins sweetish with some slightly bready pale malt, finishes with a slightly spicy bitterness and has refreshing fruitiness that’s there all the way to the finish. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. A bit Wit-like, but very enjoyable. 8/3/7/4/15=3.7
