Growler from lowcostbeer.com. Pours black with tanned head. Wow factor on the nose with chocolate, caramel, nuts, dark malts. Taste of roasted malts, chocolate, dark fruits, biscuit, sweet confectionary. Moderate roasty finish.

Can from lowcostbeer. Murky reddish brown with small beige head. Aroma and taste is malty with caramel and fruitcake, touch of alcohol. Bittersweet tangy finish. Nice.

20/12/2024. Cask at The Stanford Arms, Lowestoft. Pours close to black with a small frothy beige head. Good pour. Aroma is coffee, caramel, lightly roasted, lactose. Quite sweet but with some good balancing bitterness. Enjoyable.
