Cask at Canalhouse, Nottingham. Clear, dark copper. Minimal head. Grainy, sweet malt. Some red fruit. Taste is dry, and light bitter. Sweetness on the finish.

Cask @ Three Pigeons, Halifax. Practically black with a small frothy head. Has a gritty roasted malt aroma and taste.

Cask (handpump) @ Cock Tavern, 315 Mare Street, Hackney, Greater London, England E8 1EJ.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, spicy, light citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, orange, caramel, malty, spicy hops - spices. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130812]

Cask at The Devonshire Cat; dark brown pour with frothy tan head, burnt caramel aroma, taste is sweet very sweet with caramel a hint of cinnamon, works quite well.
