Nose is roast malts, earthy, charr, dried red berries.
Taste comprises cocoa powder, dried fruit rinds, ashen nip, earthy roast, pine needle.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness.
Tidy cask CDA.

Cask at Ealing Beer Fest 25. Clear amber. Frothy foamy white head. Aroma had fruit, caramel and malts. Flavourwise it's low key. A slight prickle of hops. Light caramel. Light-medium bodied. Thin but benefits from Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Has some character but not overly interesting.

Cask at Ealing Beer Fest 25. Presume this is what was being sold as Kveik Pale Ale. It was certainly lemony. Opaque pale gold. Thing foamy translucent white head. Aroma is citrusy. Someone got carried away with thw Jif. The flavour again 8snlemon dominated. Some underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Very one noted. All lemon, no balance.

Cask at The Shipwrights Arms by London Bridge Station. Clear dark gold. Thin foamy white head. Aroma is malty, slightly floral, infact soapy. Flavourwise it's got a light bitter streak.. Damp citrus and sweeter fruit. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Relatively abrupt finish. Drank two pints 8n no time because it's completely inoffensive and basically slips down without making much of an impression.
