750ml bottle. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of marmalade, tangerines, spice and yeasty grains. Flavour started sweet, with more citrus character, candy sugar and spices, with a slightly herbal edge and warming, boozy, finish. Very good.

Bottle from Eltham Sainsburys. Gold pour with a white head. Tangerine, ginger, tropical fruit aromas. Taste is orange toffee, apricot jam, more ginger. Spicy sweet warming feel.

Thin beige head left a spotty cover on a reddish brown coloured body. Chocolate, malt & orange aroma. Medium bodied, well carbonated & clean. Dark chocolate, orange & extremely bitter tastes. Standard.

Bottle from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Salford. Hazy pale pink in colour. Both its lemon and raspberry are evident, coming across very sugary and sherber-like in design.

Rocky white head on a dark brown body. Cinnamon, nutmeg & liquorice. Medium bodied, soft & smooth with a clean back. Spiced, blueberry, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla & sarsaparilla tastes tastes with lightly smoked finish. Nice enough.

Short white foamy head on pale dark brown coloured body. Orange, fig & mulled wine aroma. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue with a cloying back. Orange, spices, cardamom & aniseed tastes with a perfume finish. Interesting.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Label: 5% abv brewed and bottled by Hall & Woodhouse, Dorset, England. Pours a clear brown/bronze colour with a medium sized off-white head. Aromas of figs, fruit cake, caramel and sweet jam. Taste is similar notes, malty with a decent enough balance between the sweetness and mild bittering hops. Very thin watery mouthfeel with light but soda like carbonation. It tastes pleasant enough but a far from refined beer.
