Draught @ First Draft, Chicago (Aug 2023). Hazy dark yellow-amber with a small foamy off-white head, very faint citrus aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter caramel malt taste with citrus peel and peach, smooth body, long finish. Deep red-brown body, thin cream head. Nose toasted malts, cocoa, grain, fruit leather. Body has a nice tart fruit leather-cocoa bite with dusty roasted malts, marshmallow, and cerealy nuttiness. Nice roasty, lightly tannic finish. This is a really nice beer, perfect for fall weather.
