About
Originally from Sainte-Croix en Plain, the Alsatian Sainte Crucienne brewery first saw the light of day in 2007 during a boozy evening, thanks to a band of idealistic friends eager to create different and very hoppy beers. At the start of their adventure, they started by brewing 20 liters of beers, then 100, then 600. It was not until 2013 that the brewery officially started in its premises in Colmar, in just three years the volume of production has doubled to reach 3000 hl today.

They share this success with a whole community of independent brewers who are part of the Front Hexagonal de Libièration, with whom they continue to work. The goal is to multiply collaborations and unique brews to create an ever more original beer in taste and participate in the revolution of the world of craft beers.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear dark reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, dried fruit and alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 111013

Bottle, 8.4%. Dark amber/brown with small beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, toffee and yeast. Flavour is malt, yeast, caramel, toasted, medium sweet, toffee and a little bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, roast malt, grass, hops, flowers and nuts.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium yellow amber - orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, fruity, sugary, light caramel, light to moderate honey, dark honey, spicy honey, sweet honey. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet sugary, warm sweet honey. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130629]

bottle, merci jaghana! Hazy amber-oorange colour, mid-sized off-white head. Full-bodied, malty with a pleasant sweetness perhaps from the honey, some shy but pleasant aromatic hops that add a resiny, herbal and fruity touch.
