Bottle shared with Erwin Van Moll @ Brewpub Van Moll. Almost clear light orange color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, typical altbier flavors which are hard to describe but a nice easy to drink beer.

Slightly hazy yellow color with small white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is typical Belgian, some wheat, some spicy yeasts, some banana. After a few minutes, even some apple funk noticeable. Taste is spicy, floral, more wheat, some oat, a bit musty, finishes a bit spicy with a hint of phenols. Not intense nor complex, but easy sipping.

Thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty and spicy, interesting notes of some herbs. Grasy background, light sourish. Well balanced finish, still wonderful spicy. I liked it!

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, ruby brown colour with a firm and mid-sized off-white foamy head. Smoke-malty aroma which reminds me of smoked ham or sausages, also Schlenkerla Märzen comes to ones mind. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Smoke-laden flavour with meaty accents, far in the background hints of caramel, burnt wood and very subtle fruity notes; moderately sweet and mildly hop bitter finish with a smokey aftertaste. A likeable and very uncompromising brew. 22.I.16

Smooth roasty-smoky beginning. Intense and sticky. Great smoked beer. Dry and bitter, smoked. Fresh and easy to drink, smoky and round. Dry malt with a round smooth body in the aftertaste. Very good!

0,33 l bottle bought at Bierzwerg bottle shop, Greven. Unclear pale orange in the glass, small white head. Like a witbeer on the nose. Taste starts with yeast and banana, sweetness. Some wheat and coriander. Later a little bit more pale malt. Low chewing gum and some herbs in the late aftertaste. Fortunately not the expected medical herbal hammer. Not bad.

Bottle. Cloudy try-yellow, low white head. Light dusty herbal base notes, citrus, elderflowers, a bit grainy/mealy malt, sweet sugary notes, metallic grassy notes. Medium light, mellow, dry. I enjoy the rough fruity/flowery notes on grain, but it is a bit muddled.
