0,33 l bottle, best before 6/8/2015, christmas present from my sister. Clear, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Sweetish-smoky aroma of smoked ham, smoked wood, nuts, raisins, dark cherries and a bit of toffee. Sweetish, just slightly smoky taste of raisins, dark cherries, smoked ham, coal, molasses, nuts, a bit of toffee and dark chocolate. Rather short, quite hoppy finish with an increased smokiness. Medium to full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Very good beer. Not as deep and full-bodied as the Schlenkerla bock beers, but still very harmonic and satisfying. Highly underestimated. Recommended if you like doppelbock and smoked beer crossovers.
