OK, so I’m a lager lover and this is a lager. Has a little bit of a skunk aroma and its from a quite small bottle; 8.5 oz. Very nice head for a lager. Taste is a little strong with a metallic pilsner bite of sorts. Goodly amount of co2. Seems like more than 4.5% fer sure. Yes, some metallic background makes this a little more than a mild lager, was expecting something a little more refined. Somewhat processed finish.

Pours a dark amber-gold color with a medium somewhat fizzy white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, musty malt and fruit. Light body with a sweet syrupy mouthfeel and flavors of caramel malt, citrus and a hint of hops. The finish is short and malty. Guess I shouldn’t approach a beer with certain style expectations due to a holiday label but this beer is pretty forgettable regardless of the season.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Clear bronze colour, fair sized head. Floral nose with some butter and lemon. Perfumy and fairly sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Low bitterness. A reasonably firm lager dipped in some interesting citrus and perfume.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours very hazy dirty gold with a creamy/bubbly white head. Aroma suggests citrus and coriander? Medium minus body. Flavor is lightly clove with citrusy flavors. Seems a bit wheaty. Not a hint of skunk, and it’s a clear bottle. That coriander? aspect doesn’t work 100%, but overall it’s drinkable and refreshing. Maybe just slightly too sweet in the finish.
