Canned 330ml. -Yellow/golden coloured, medium sized white head, dusty nose. Light notes of honey with touch of malt and green apple. Mild grainy also. Probably the best of three Cambodian beers I’ve tried.

33cl can. Pours clear light golden with a small white head. Sweet and lightly malty with cooked vegetables aroma. Slightly unpleasant. Not the best alternative in Cambodia. Cheap Asian light lager.

A blonde lager with a thin dissipating white head. Aroma of rice adjunct with light solvent notes. In mouth, a sweet solventy malt with malt juice, thin, cloying, not very good. Can from Angkor Market, 0.70$ for 330 ml can.

Cambodia, 2004: In a Heinken knockoff can. The beer is credited to Singapore Brewery, but this is an old name for Asia Pacific Breweries, which is the Heinken company that owns Cambodia Brewery. Got that? Dull gold colour. Aroma of wort and corn flakes. Palate has an icing sugar thickness with worty flavour. Finish is sweet. 3-1-2-1-3 = 1.0
Indonesian-made can, found in Penang in 2010: Dull, dark gold colour with a thin head. The aroma is worty and sweet with heavy corn syrup notes. Body is a bit heavy with corn syrup character, maybe a vague hint of grassy hop extract. A thicker macro, not very good. 2-1-2-1-3 = 0.9

Gold colour. Aroma is mainly watery with a slight vegetal note. The palate is moderate for style, with a flavour profile similar to the aroma. Finish has a hint of hoppy crispness.
