330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with huge, fluffy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Grassy and fruity, hoppy aroma, spicy, pale malty background, notes of pear, apple, gooseberry, some unripe nectarine, unripe peach. Taste is fruity and grassy hoppy, spicy pale malty, subtle residual sweetness, notes of pear, apple, gooseberry, some nectarine, unripe peach, melon. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Well hopped, very refreshing, highly drinkable - very nice!

500ml bottle. Opalescent, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Weak, minimally grainy and strawy, pale malty aroma, light grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally grainy and strawy, spicey, pale malty, mildly bitter, grassy, minimally herbal hoppy counterpart with a minimally tart-ish touch of sorrel, subtle residual sweetness. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. Very clean, balanced, a tad anaemic - OK.

500ml bottle [as Bayerisch Dunkel - Münchner Art]. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and average, frothy, half-way lasting, mininmally lacing, off-white to beige head. Toasty, minimally woody, dark malty aroma, a fruity touch of cherry, plum, nuts. Taste is dry, toasty, dark malty, minimally woody and minimally fruity, subtle sweetness, a touch of cherry and plum. Watery texture, smooth, minimally dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly, foamy carbonation. Relatively fruity, light - unusual.

Cautious, sweet-ish, minimally grainy, pale malty and mildly hoppy aroma, light grassy spiciness. Taste is mildly bitter hoppy with grassy-spicy and minimally citrusy aspects, clean pale malty with a minimally grainy and minimally biscuity touch, subtle residual sweetness. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth, slightly dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Very fine, mild, clean - not bad.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Rather expressionless, minimalyl grainy, malty aroma, hints of lemonade. Taste is sweet-ish, pale malty, minimally grainy, slightly sugary, citrusy fruity, hints of lemon, citric acid, some bitter hop. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to coarse, soft to flat carbonation. Not too sweet, not too artificial - not bad for the style.
