"Schwarzbräu Stolz der Bayern", Flasche von Ehrenreich, LL; 16.5.2025. - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase eher milde aber noch pilstypische Hopfung, weich zitrusfruchtig und fein herbal. - Antrunk nicht richtig schlank aber schön hellmalzig, zart süß und aromatisch aber nicht zu bitter hopfenherb mit runder Zitrusfrucht. Milder rezent. Im Abgang runde Hopfenbittere. - Solider Vertreter des süddeutschen Pilsener-Typs. Hier wurde guter Aromahopfen verbraut, wenn auch etwas sparsamer als erhofft.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pffafenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Thursday 8th September 2022 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music cooking Mousakka. Pours clear gold with a white head, nice bitterness, but there is a little cereal and fruitiness, a little dryness. Quite good.

500ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy, minimally herbal and citrusy, hoppy and slightly strawy, pale malty aroma, hints of nettle, a touch of dandelion, old lemon, minimally doughy yeasty overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, and minimally spicy, pale malty, slightly grassy and herbal, minimally citrusy hoppy, hints of nettle, dandelion, a touch of old lemon, moderate bitterness. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Nice composition, fine herbal and spicy flavours, refreshing - good.

50cl bottle. A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild grainy malt and spicy hops. Taste of dry spicy and mild grassy hops, straw and grainy bitter malt.

500 ml bottle. Pours clear golden with decent head. Grass, citrus, grain. Medium bitterness. Lack of hops. Lively carbonated, light bodied. Finish is slightly bitter. Not bad, but not very good. Average Pils.
