Cloudy golden with a foamy head. Vanilla, lemon zest, wheat bread, yeast, some banana. Fruity yeasty sweetness, mild dry zesty bitterness. Medium bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonated, dry zesty yeasty fruity sweet finish. A pleasant Weißbier!

Bottle picked up from a Getrankemarkt in Günzburg and consumed at home Wednesday 24th September 2025 listening to ByteFM and cooking Courgette Rotolo with a Lemon and Herb Ricotta Stuffing. Pours gold but interestingly not too hazy, yeastiness is there but not so much as to change the appearance. Large white head but this disappeared quite quickly. Taste is pretty good, usual Hefeweisse characteristics but a bit on the sweet side. Nice soft mouthfeel, a little bannoffee.

Bottle I bought several years ago. Dark brown, moderate head. After 9 years aging: raisiny nose, very plummy. Flavor is thick and oxidized but impressive in its clout, a bit like Madeira or sherry. Super smooth, mellow bitterness. Impressed it held up so well!

Klare goldgelbe Farbe; gemischtporige, stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase getreidig, hellmalzig, leicht süßlich, etwas blumiger Hopfen. Im Geschmack gut ausbalanciert, helles Malz, süßliches Getreide, frisch, leichte Würzigkeit, blumig und schlank. Insgesamt ein sortentypisches, süffiges Helles.

A slightly hazy deep golden beer with an off white head. Aroma of yeast, some banana, some grains. Taste of mild spicy and floral wheat malt, decent banana, easy to drink.
