A slightly hazy deep golden beer with an off white head. Aroma of yeast, some banana, some grains. Taste of mild spicy and floral wheat malt, decent banana, easy to drink.

"Schwarzbräu Stolz der Bayern", Flasche von Ehrenreich, LL; 16.5.2025. - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase eher milde aber noch pilstypische Hopfung, weich zitrusfruchtig und fein herbal. - Antrunk nicht richtig schlank aber schön hellmalzig, zart süß und aromatisch aber nicht zu bitter hopfenherb mit runder Zitrusfrucht. Milder rezent. Im Abgang runde Hopfenbittere. - Solider Vertreter des süddeutschen Pilsener-Typs. Hier wurde guter Aromahopfen verbraut, wenn auch etwas sparsamer als erhofft.

Bottle picked up (forgot where from) and consumed at home Thursday 12th September 2024 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music it's Round Table later, cooking Landsmeer Salmon Pasta. Pours hazy yellow with a large white head. Tasty Hefe-Weiße ticking all the right boxes, a little yeast, some banana. Soft mouthfeel, a little bit chewy. There is a nice aroma, wheaty with a little creamy vanilla and a hint of banana. Good.

Appearance: clear gold with a tall white frothy head of high retention. Aroma and taste: fresh noblevhop, clean pale malt, fruity hints. Medium dry, light plus ending bitterness. Perfect balance. Mouth feel: medium minus body, appropriate carbonation. Overall: a high range Helles.
