Pours a dark, caramel-brown, with mid-sized head. Aroma is leather, smoke, roasted grain. Flavors follow. Pretty smooth and crisp mouthfeel.

Pours a deep, dark brown, bordering on black, with big, tan head that lasts. Aroma is burnt toast, smoked grain, some pine/citrus hops. Flavors follow. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Mild hop bitterness in the finish. A really nice example of the style.

Canned. The beer is in great condition. Thick head. Dry, resinous hops and moderately roasted malt flavor. Just a hint of smoke. Good, thick palate.

Full palate with malt flavor, grain. And a hint of smoke in the aroma. I liked this more as I drank it.

Can shared by Jack, thanks! Pours a near clear dark brown with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has dry piney hope with some earthy dark grains, light barrel and just a hint of smoke underlying. Flavor has dry pine with some earthy dark grains, light roast and nice smoke note in the finish.

Can. Pours a clear earthy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw and hay with a hint of grass and a bit of smoke underlying. Flavor has a light smoke through out with a bit of straw and hay backing with a touch of grass.
