Inviting aroma of cherry and sour wood. Ethanol and mustiness also detectable after pouring. Flavor is watery and stale with cherry and some of that sour, musty "cheeserind" character. Nary a head on the red body. Seems watered-down and stale. Pretty weak.

(draught) Amber red, no head. Sweet nose, lots of Brett, but before all very fruity-estery. Nice refreshing taste, spritzy and sweet fuits, but NO excessive sweetness. Woody palate. Light bodied, very refreshing. Untraditional as it may be, I liked it all the same. It’s a great summer beer, in its own right for those with a sweet tooth.

A typical sweet cherry flavoured kriek. Aroma of cherry esters, marzipan. Sweet cherry candy taste, sirupy. Sticky sweet palate. Need i say more? Easy to pour this down my throat, like a soda.

An orange beer with a fine head. The aroma is sour from the wild fermentation with notes of metal. The flavor is lovely sour from the wild fermentation - that draws out the mouthwater. It has a good balance, though the body is a little thin.

Dirty-brown, dense head, very slowly collapsing leaving thin shreds of dirty lace; yellow-brown tea colour. Woody, paintstripper or glue, sulphur, dried green raisins. Sweet taste, but syrupy. Faint woody & fruity taste; as a homeopathic dose of raisins, lemon juice and honey - and water, water, water, w... Surprisingly empty mouthfeel, certain tartness all the same. Faint cloying finish. One expects it to be substandard. And yet, one is disappointed when it proves to be so. The base is there, but in what travesty.

Bottle – Poured a peachy color brew with a nice bubbly head. Aroma of peach is very detectable and smell a bit too much like aroma then real peach. Taste is very sweet, almost like peach juice. Carbonation is good. Overall, another very refreshing Lambic but not enough tart or complexity.

Bottle – Poured a reddish brew with good carbonation. Aroma of cherries is overpowering with nothing else coming out in terms of aroma. Taste is bit too much cheery with not enough tart and tannic. Overall, this one is very refreshing but not the best from Mort Subite, nor close to the great kriek lambic.

An unclear light yellow beer with a small head. The aroma is sour of lemon and grapes, and so is the flavor.

375 ml corked bottle (champagne style). Enormous thick head, red colour, aroma is cherries (no surprise!) and red wine vinegar. Flavour is not nearly as sweet as Lindemans Kriek, quite dry really. Light bodied, but lots of cherries of course. Refreshing. Initially a little peppery bite. Moderately acidic.

Bottle - Poured a golden brew with a nice huge bubbly head. Retention is very standard but head leaves mark at every sip, which is usually a quality mark. Taste is sour with a hint of tannic. Very refreshing with great carbonation. Overall, this is a very good beer even though there's probably some more extreme/better lambic gueuze out there.
