Bottle from LDW, Eke. Dark reddish purple colour with pink head. Nose of sweet cherries, funk, barnyard. Taste is very fruity, lots of cherries, tart, bit lemony, some sweetness. Well balanced and nice but misses some complexity.

Thin pink hued head left a collar & cover on a purple still body. Cherry aroma. Medium to thin bodied, sparkling on the tongue with a cloying back. Cherry, confectionery & herbal tastes with tangy fruity finish.

Lasting, creamy head. Sweet and a bit sour taste. Found cherry and grape sugar. Not a complex beer, just a commercial gueuze suitable for everyman's taste. Still, it tastes o.k.

Aroma of cherries and cheap sweets. Bit watery. Not too sweet. A decent sourness and a good cherry taste. Re-rate: best until 1990. Dusty aroma, with cork and only a hint of cherry. Has thinned considerably, but the cherry flavor is still there, although a bit artificial. Caramel and a bit syrupy. This beer has kept surprisingly well in those 15 years.
