Can at the hotel, picked up at B2 Burger. Feels fresh but with that being said, it’s got quite a bit of astringency, the body is extremely light, almost watery, the flavour intensity is low, the finish is nothing to talk about. Sounds harsh, but this is just not well made

Tap at B2 Burger Bar in Maspalomas. With all due respect it’s exactly the kind of IPA/craft beer you’d find at a holiday destination with no focus on craft beer. It’s not undrinkable by fat but has its fair share of flaws, some might come from process, some might come from turnaround etc. Slightly oxidized, feels like it’s not too fresh either. It shows touches of fruity hops, some yeast esters too, but that’s it. It’s got a vague sulphur character to it too. More or less as expected

Can, #2439, @Perez & Beers, Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, eleven months before bbd. Pours hazy dark golden, with a big creamy creamy head. Aroma is hoppy notes of orange peel, grapefruit and stone fruits, as well as malts with bread, toffee and heather. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is bitter notes of piney hops with orange peel, grapefruit and stone fruits, as well as bread, caramel and heather. Lingering bitter finish.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is sharp, sour dark fruits, dark chocolate and woody notes. Taste has dark chocolate to start with sour dark berries, hedgerow fruit and red wine vinegar throughout.

Clear maroon to red brown beer, small creamy beige head, a little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, strawberry jam, some roast, sourish impression. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, nice, lots of berries, soft roast, pretty acidic, bitter. Aftertaste: fruity, very fruity, a bit sugary, some jam, pretty acidic finish. Very nice one, I really liked it!
