On tap at Do Carmo. Hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of melon, pineapple, yeast. Flavour of lots of plastic, dead yeast, melon, harsh herbal bitterness. Light bodied. Glad I got a taster.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 15B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 010007 (BBF SET.17). AROMA: slight sweet aroma with a mild roasted malt (chocolate) background. slight oxidized hops. APPEARANCE: dark brown color with slight ruby highlights. opaque with material in suspension. medium light brown head with no retention. TASTE: initial sweet note with a slight sulphury presence, followed by a medium-low roasted malt presence (slight chocolate). semi-sweet finish with a moderate roasted finish. PALATE: initialy overcarbonated that vanishes after a couple of minutes. medium to medium-light body with an underatenuated sensation. OVERALL: a stout that needs a lot of improvements.
