Can: Poured a golden color pilsner with a generous foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes with dry hops with light fruity undertones. Taste is dominated by NZ hops notes of fruits with some light dry Nobel hops notes. Cereal notes are very subtle. Body is full with good carbonation. Very enjoyable pilsner but Rikawa hops kind of take this away from the style staple.

Can: Poured a hazy white/yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet wheat malt notes with some floral citrusy hops notes is quite enticing. Taste is a nice mix of floral citrusy notes with some sweet wheat malt notes with light bitterness. Body is above average for style with good carbonation. Super enjoyable beer with nice drinkability while retaining some good level of complexity/flavours.

Can: Poured a hazy amber color ale with a nice large foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of fresh grassy hops notes offset by some dry cereal notes is nice. Taste is a mix of dry cereal notes with some dry hoppy notes offset by grassy hoppy notes from the Simcoe. Body is about average with good carbonation. The Simcoe notes are quite powerful and dominates the overall mix and leaves little place for the Bitter flavours to come through. Enjoyable but nothing close to the style standard.

50cl Can, tfs JulienHuxley! Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malts, dank hop juice, citrus, tropical fruits, passionfruit, zest, resin, some pine. Flavour is medium sweet to sweet, malty, very hoppy, dank, citrus, resin, bitter finish. Medium bodied. IXPL was world class, this is ’just’ very good.

Can: Poured a cloudy beige color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus floral notes with some tropical fruit notes. Taste is a mix of floral citrusy notes with some tropical fruits notes and some residual sugar notes with light cereal and bitterness notes. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Super hoppy beer but not sure I could have tell this is a lager in a blind tasting.

A deep dark Saison with a thin brown head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with coffee grind, musty character, fruity Saison esters, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light coffee notes, grassy hops, light mineral notes, light clove, pleasant. On tap at Festibière d’hiver de Gatineau, 2017.
