Draught at Pivovarsky Klub. Mild urine and ginger aroma. Hazy yellow colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is mildly gingery. OK clean. A bit boring, but the ginger is OK.

Bottled(500ml). -Slight hazy golden coloured, medium sized white head that went away slowly, dry honeyish nose. Moderate malty, quite bready and slight hoppy with notes of honey and vegetables. Also some metallic touch in the bitter finish. Not so good and unbalanced beer.

0.5l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from the Czech Republic (thanks!) Love the way the label calls it a 12° beer when it’s 12.99°. Poured a dark golden colour with a medium sized thick white head that went away slowly. Nice enough. Lively carbonation too. Dry grainy, almost husky nose, odd. The taste is even odder, bready, dry graininess, slightly alcoholic, metallic and herbal hopiness. Odd stale notes of what might be honey (which isn’t all that noticeable really). Some egginess, stale. Not refreshing. A mess and not the greatest beer ever.

Big shiny offwhite lasting head. Yellow body with carbonation. Resiny pine needle aroma, extremely clean, with peppery grassy hop notes. Sweetish grassy herbal malty taste with papery notes. Smooth, mild mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry buttery milky aftertaste with grassy notes. Quite good. (0.5l bottle at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague.)

Draught. At first the aroma seems gingery, then soapy. Refreshing, though. Hazy orange colour. Small stable creamy head. The flavour some of the same notes as the aroma. There is a little grapey bitterness, and a little hop bit, but not the real ginger burn. The soapiness in the flavour is a lot like woodruff. Strange, but interesting and not bad.
