Taster at MainStage. Pours a slightly hazy, straw color, with a small, off-white head. The nose is orange peel, quinine, green banana, and grapefruit. Dry and citrusy, with a light bitterness. A bit too aggressive, but not bad.

Pint can - moderately hazy gold with a soapy head - mostly dry, with some interesting undercurrents of sweet tropical fruit, vanilla, coconut and white grape (but like it’s hinting at sweetness rather than actually being sweet - lotus hops?) - grainy rusticity - mild undertones of brett funkiness - finishes moderately bitter, but also mildly watery - overall nice, but finished weak.

16 oz can from John, thanks man! Pours a clear darker amber-brown color with a beige head and plenty of lace. Nice smoke malt, toffee, caramel, and earthy mix here. Smokier early, sweeter late. Drinks super smooth and clean. Well made. Excellently balanced. Incredibly drinkable. Really nice.

16 oz. can. Pours a clear, brown color, with a big, frothy, beige head. The aroma is black bread, pecans, some earthy hops, allspice, and toffee. Sweet and malty, with a touch of bitterness. Light to medium body, with a crisp, clean mouthfeel. This is a malt forward and lightly yeasty lager. Simple and well made.

Can - hazy gold with a well-sustained head - nose is mildly sweet, with a slight spiciness and a mild buggy funk - flavor is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, and the faintest bit tart - a bit of graininess before a long spiciness in the finish - a bit muddled and husky, so less enjoyable than it could be.

On tap at Brewer's Republic. Pours a clear, straw color, with a big, frothy, white head. The nose is honeysuckle, bread dough, resin, oak, and straw. Sweet, with a light bitterness and some good yeasty esters. Light and crisp. This is a clean and tasty saison.

Can - labeled as 7.2% abv - pours a hazy amber - nose of tart cranberry, rosemary, cherry, light dusty/earthy yeast - medium body, creamy texture - semi-dry, but still richly malty - the cranberries add a light tartness - moderate earthy basement yeast character - lightly sweet dark fruits through the middle, followed by a moderate yeast phenol spiciness to finish - a nice departure from your typical Christmas ale, which is usually a spice bomb, a booze bomb, or both.
