Description
Oregon's First and Only B Corp Brewery. Founded in 2008.
Beer as a force for good.

Hopworks was founded in 2007 by our Brewmaster, Christian Ettinger. He started brewing in his parent’s kitchen during his first summer break in college and it didn’t take long to decide he would open his own brewpub.

With locally-sourced, organic and Salmon-Safe hops, our 20-barrel brewery produces 10,000 barrels of beer per year for our two brewpubs, airport brewpub, and for distribution throughout Cascadia and beyond. From composting to salvaged materials, and pervious pavers to hand dryers, we’ve made every effort to protect our planet with thoughtful alternatives to the status quo.

[33cl can from Beer52 as Hopworks Ferocious Citrus IPA] A hazy amber pour with a thin white head; aroma of orange and mandarin; fresh orangey taste with some sweet malts; and a clean pithy citrus finish. Rather docile.

16 oz can poured. Juicy mixed berry red appearance, clean, with no head that lasts. Blackberry forward aroma, jammy, with plenty of tart indication. Very fruity. Seems as though there is just about every beery imaginable in this one. Cool flavorful, tart linger. Pretty easy drinker, and an obvious refresher when enjoyed in the warmer settings. Very enjoyable when you are in the mood to fruit the beer, but slushies and milkshake styles are just taking it too far.
