Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a small dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of intense chocolate notes with some bourbon notes with light cinnamon and strong marshmallow notes with plenty of residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of intense chocolate notes with some bourbon notes and cinnamon and strong marshmallow notes with lots of residual sugar notes. Body is full with an oily texture and good carbonation with no real discernible alcohol notes. Enjoyable but too sweet and intense flavors to drink too much at once.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: pink to ruddy orangey color with a swiftly die-ing head which left some super light lace
Aroma: fills up with a well meshed dragon fruity to pink guava-like conglomeration and underscored by a pinch of lemony-like to lime-ish bottom tone, delicate sour/tart qualities round out the aroma
Flavor: seems to meld the prior noted aromas to a fine tart to sour quality initially with a rising sweet in there to balance further; finishes with the dragon fruit and guava notes and somewhat juicy
Texture: light to medium bodied; kinda sessionable as the sour notes seem a bit restrained; good carb level
Overall: pretty nice fruited tart/sour ale I would be willing to return to.

A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with coffee grind, musty character, alcohol warmth, light spices, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, coffee grind, musty character, alcohol warmth, very nice.

2026 version, 16oz can from Tavour. Hazy golden pour with substantial fluffy white head, streaky lacing. Funky, fruity, dank aroma, potent. Taste begins with a flash of grapefruit peel, dank, herbaceous, stone fruit, overripe with a nice hefty punch behind it. A real pleasure....

500ml that I got during Festival of Dark Arts 2026 @ Phill's shared with Andriy and Brian.
Aroma: loads of marshmallow, bold, sweet.
Taste: along the same lines.
Overall: enjoyable, but it's still really far from it's barrel aged version that I had a luck to try during the festival 🥳

Appearance: nice yellow-ed creamy/milky haziness with two and a half fingers worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave lots of messy lace all over the place
Aroma: white grape sweetness, lemongrass but definitely comes across in a sweeter than normal way; melon/guava - somewhat honeydew sorta blend underneath; give it a good ten to 15 minutes and I definitely gives off a delicate jolly rancher sweetness as it keeps warming
Flavor: gently blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet quality then a super light underlying bittersweet character; finishes smooth semi-guava-like with a pinch of white grapes then a subtler note of honeydew
Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch under; leaning towards being a sipper - just a bit; pretty good smoothness with a super subtle creaminess along the tongue; great low carb and low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: pretty nicely done NEDIPA well worthy of returning to.
