Bronze. Not much head. Very sweet, almost candyish, hop candy but yeah sweet. Then gets a bit boozy in the finish.

On tap at Crucible, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out citrus hops, followed by some melon and light pine. Flavour is dynamic, with notes of melon, tangy citrus hops, some pine and a lightly sweet, oily finish. Very nicely constructed, with a tangy finish.

On tap at Crucible, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dried dark fruits, some spiciness and earthy malt. Flavour brings out lots of earthy, roasted malt, followed by aggressive bitter hops. Pleasantly astringency on the finish. A little abrasive but it works.

On tap at Crucible, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of chocolate fudge, followed by light espresso and some dark dried fruits. Flavour is robust as hell, with loads of espresso upfront, followed by dry dark chocolate and just enough sweetness. Robust, balanced and delicious. Really lovely.

On tap at Crucible, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is abrasive, with roasted malt, lightly tart dark fruits and caramel. Flavour is abrasive and rich, with huge roasted malt, caramel, and intense alcohol. Quite harsh overall. Roasty and phenolic. Good, but too abrasive.

On tap at Crucible, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light English bready malt. Flavour is very odd, with English bready caramel malt, some herbaceous notes and grass. What a strange beer - not disastrous but I'm not a fan.

Draft pour pint at Special Brews. Part of my "Iβm still learning hop profiles after all this time" series. I love these beers. A dark, copper orange pour with almost no head. Very soft aroma of subtle hops. Far less aromatic than your typical IPA. A bit disappointing. A biting hop bitterness up front, lighter body, grassy hop constant. Not really on the juicy side, or on the refreshing side. A sipper of an IPA for me, with strong qualities, which intrigues me on the series. Not bad, but less my type of IPA.

On tap at Crucible, pours a hazy copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and resinous hop oils. Flavour is very oily, with tons of resinous hop oils and a rather sweet malt backbone. Super oily palate that is a bit burdensome. Not bad but a bit harsh. Decent.

On tap at Crucible, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of alcohol and some caramel, dark fruits. Flavour is very boozy and sweet, with intense phenols and sickly sweetness - the sweetness is from medicinal cherry cough syrup. Messy, boozy and harsh. Difficult to drink. Needs a lot of work.
