Bottle. Deep dark brown color, no head. Malt, maple syrup, vanilla and Bourbon in the aroma Very sweet, alcoholic flavor with dried fruit, dades, vanilla, raisin and Bourbon. Flavorfull, but a bit too much of everything.

Bottle. Red brown muddy pour. Aroma of vineus red fruit, peat, smoke, oak, malt and some vanilla. Taste of caramelised malt, raisin, smoke, peat, plums, oaky vanilla, vineus red fruit and dates. Interesting blend of flavors and it kinda works, the peat is clearly present, but doesn't overpower the other flavors. Nice and creative.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before November 2023. Slightly hazy, amber with a thin, frothy, white layer. Sweetish, a bit fruity and minimally vinous aroma of lots of honey, some apricot and a touch of red wine. Rather sweet, slightly malty, moderately fruity and a bit vinous taste of honey, apricot and just a touch of red wine, followed by a short, slightly vinous, a bit woody finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nicely balanced Braggot with enough influence of the barrel to make it a little more interesting.
