Tap @ De Wal, Ootmarsum. Iets troebele bruine kleur en een oneven lichtbeige kraag. Geur van karam en wat boterbabbelaars. Ook wat rood fruit retronasaal. Smaak is vrij karamellig zoet met een licht bittertje. Medium body. Licht bittere afdronk.

250ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, auburn colour with ruby shimmer and small, creamy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Caramel malty and somehow smoky-herbal, minimally fruity aroma, hints of dark caramel, herbal liqueur, whiffs of cherry. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, slightly herbal and minimally fruity, hints of herbal liqueur, a touch of cherry, smoked red pepper.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Barely concrete, slightly Genever-like herbal aspects - interesting, not bad, not really convincing neither.

Bottle. Grainy malty aroma with straw, hint of grassy noble hop. Flavour is moderate bitter with low sweetness, finishes a bit dry. Light body, could be better. Unremarkable Pils.

Donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is zoet met duidelijk honing in de smaak. Verder sporen van wat sinaasappel en bloemen. Best wel een geslaagd product.
