Clear pale blond yellow beer with a slight pink-orange shine to it, though that might have been the lighting inside or even the crystal cut glass in which I poured it. Aery irregular small white head, unstable, non adhesive, dissipates quickly. Aroma: very malty, grains, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish, malty, grains, nice bitterness, some citrus. Aftertaste: bit sweet, malty, hoppy touch, decent pilsener for what it's worth.

Green bottle at a Lebanese Restaurant in Paris. Consumed from the bottle, so the appearance was clear and there was some head left in the bottle. Aroma was malty, sweet, not much else. Flavors were sweet, grainy, dms, corn-y. Light hop character. Not a bad industrial Lager, but that’s not saying much. Surprisingly low light struck character for a green bottle. Slightly better than expected.

OK, so I already had Almaza Pilsener, I was hoping this was a country tic, hah. But anywho, how about the debatable name of this? Clear pale from bottle pictured. Light easy and fizzy, not bad for a lager lover. Less cabbage on the nose than expected. Yes, quite refreshing on the palate. Probably better than most cheap domestic pale lagers. Pilsner? Barely.....this is cheap pale lager. Not bad.

Pour is a clear golden with a average white head. Aroma is a skunky burning. Flavor is sugary wet paper bag. Pretty poor with nothing redeeming other than a country tick.

Bottle at Lazeez in Box Park Croydon. Pours clear gold with a thin white head that sticks around. Aroma is malt heavy with a little grass and hops. Taste is malt forward with a little grass, apple and straw. Carbonation is OK. It’s ok.

Bouteille 25cl de Baaklini, Niamey. BB 27.10.2017. Dorée, col blanc-cassé crémeux retombant rapidement. Arôme assez métallique avec un nez de carton mouillé, malt pils dominant avec léger rétro de grains. Palais de malt pils avec un effet houblonné sec citronné vert avec fini un peu farineux voire de grains concassés. Léger côté biscuité en fin d e bouche avec un ajout amer noble plus dominant.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks avrashi. Clear yellow with a bit of white foam. Skunky and corny aroma with a bit of hay. Slightly sweetish flavor, corny, with a slightly bitterish finish. Watery.

Bottled 330ml. -Yellow coloured, small white head, dusty corn nose. Sweetish water, light cardboard and corn with dry grainy finish. Just like I’ve expected.
