Bottle at Arnabeet Syrian restaurant at Seven Dials streetfood market. The Syrian food served here was delicious; I'd highly recommend it. Sadly this beer wasn't up to the quality of the food. It's your standard dull gold-coloured industrial world lager; sweetish, grainy, lots of cardboard and a touch of very old lemon. About the kindest thing I can say if it is that I've had worse beers.

Pours a clear gold with over a finger of long lasting foam, nice lacing.
The smell is some light caramel malt, lemon citrus, and some notes of light struck because of the green bottle.
The taste is lemon citrus, some grass, toasted malt, light sweet notes but this leans more to the hoppy, being a Pilsner. Light touch of the light struck presence.
Light end of medium bodied, I probably wouldn't turn down another bottle.

Bottle @ random Libanese restuarant, Paris. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of light malt, corn, hay. Flavor is light sweet, malt, corn, cardboard. Thin body, average carbonation. 170925

Sample, thanks Robin Svensson. Clear pale yellow, small head. Faint maize aroma. Sweetish with light body and clean mouthfeel. Syrupy maize, grass and water. Low to medium bitterness.

8/11/2024. Bottle shared by Robin, cheers. Pours clear very pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet malt, grainy, floral, citric, slightly pickled. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness and body. Average carbonation. Fair.
