Very dark brown. Fresh fruity hops on the nose. Light chocolate and mellow bitterness. A little bit funky. Not hoppy enough, despite the nice dry-hop aroma it isn’t there on the palate.

Bottle from the Denver brewpub. The beer is a reddish-brown color with a medium beige head that dissipates quickly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, dark fruit and yeast. Medium body with an effervescent mouthfeel and flavors of caramel malt, yeast and fruit. The finish is short with a Belgian spice aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap @ downtown location. Cloudy, light banana yellow appearance with a frothy white head. Nose is dominated by wheat makes and a touch of fruitiness. Light bodied, easy drinking, unfiltered wheat with a mild fruitiness. Boring but not bad.

On tap @ downtown location. Deep brown appearance with a light brown head. Notable rye malts in the nose that are forefront that are complemented by a dark chocolatey aroma. Plenty of rye lightens the body somewhat with roasty, chocolate malty presence also notable. Pretty tasty brew.

Thanks to beastiefan2k for buying - hazy straw color - foamy head - seriously over carbonated, which makes the mouthfeel a little abrasive - nose of toasted wheat, dusty yeast, cobweb, citrus - a bit sweet up front, with some notes of orange - dries out through the middle, with some cracked grains, a little flinty character - yeasty, wheaty finish - not bad, really.

750ml capped bottle from the brewpub. Shared with notalush and apoptosis, and Abbey. A bit of foam after uncapping. Bubbly, foamy, soapy head that never completely fades. Thick dark golden color, cannot see through it but a of visible carbonation bubbles. Aroma is sweet candy with a small lemon hint. A bit of graininess to it. Flavor is similar the sweetness is sightly offset by the strong carbonation with slight bit of herbalness at the end. The carbonation is too strong. It’s a good beer but too sweet and carbonation is off. For the price it was great.
