Casita Brewing Company
Microbrewery
in Wilson,
North Carolina,
United States 🇺🇸
Associated Venue: Casita Brewing Company
Established in 2015
Casita started as a contract brewery at Hill Farmstead Brewery in Greensboro Vermont in 2015. In 2017, we moved this business to our home state of North Carolina, where we produced our beer at Duck-Rabbit Brewery in Farmville. In 2020, we are set to open our very own brewery and taproom in Mahalia's hometown of Wilson, NC. We will be open to the public by August 30th.
Over the years we have brewed over 50 different beers under the Casita name. Ryan is excited to bring this creativity to our new taproom, where we will be brewing some old favorites as well as some new beers we haven’t even dreamed of yet.
The logo for our brand is a letter 'C' in the shape of a little house. The 'C' of course stands for Casita, but it is our hope this 'C' will not only represent our brand, but a lot of our other favorite words that start with 'C', like craftsmanship, creativity, compassion, and community. These are the key principles of our business.
Loved the other two, wasn't too crazy about the apple brandy bourbon mix here though, a bit too much fruity and vanilla for me, but purely personal preference as Elke loved this one. Still liked the booziness and base though.
A LOT of apple brandy, tastes like more apple brandy than barleywine, still delicious.
Whoops drank the top rated one first, super chocolatey vanillay bourbon deliciousness. Why are blended and apple brandy waxed and this one isn't? The world may never know! Warm cake and plum pie.
A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, vanilla, cacao, alcohol warmth, very nice and smooth. On tap at The Farmhouse btv.

Cremiger, moderat herber Beginn mit deutlichem Kaffeearoma. Etwas Schokolade, die Intensität bleibt angenehm, kernig getreidiger Hintergrund, süffig. Gut! 11/11/12/11//11

Poured a black color with a small tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, smoke, some pepper. Flavor was big roast, pepper picks up a bit, but isn't overwhelming. Nice roasted finish. At a DCBeer share.

Papaya and banana nose. Opaque orange, thin head. Guava and papaya, fairly dry. Full body, easy carbonation. Quite interesting.
