T42 tasting on me Birfaday. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Soft malts. Tangy floralness. Herbs and lavender. Tangy fruits. Airy dry finish. A dark Gruit really.

Poured into a tall tulip, the appearance was a burnt hazy orange color with a quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy to bubbly/fizzy head.
The aroma starts with a harsh sour citrus rind and then subtle sour to sweet to light spicy pumpkin flesh. Sour green apple insists as it warms.
The flavor leans sour first but opens up into a sly sweet pumpkin. Green apple and citrus come in for a lot of sour. Sour green apple rubbing my tastebuds harshly but a crisp quick aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation seems alright for what it is.
Overall, sour pumpkin ale, that’s how I see it with some non-pumpkin spice and extra citrus flavors.

This was poured into a tulip.

The aroma starts with a nice blend of sour lime to ginger. Lemon juice notes slide in after a little bit of warming.
The flavor takes the ginger spice to blend nicely with the tart yet sweet lime and lemon. Sly tart and sweet aftertaste with the same sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionabile to sipping feel about it. Low carbonation. Slight stickiness.
Overall, nice creative regular sour ale. I’d have again.

Bottle at Aarhus tasting. Pours mahogany brown with a big frothy beige head. Aroma of malt, sour and dark fruits, and caramel. Light sweetness, light bitterness, quiet heavy sour. Finish is dry, sour.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting, my place. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, lactose acid, spices, candy sugar, tea and hops. A bit unbalanced and messy.

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark brown colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy strange spicey aroma. Moderate bitter very spicey flavor. Too many different notes to be great. AVerage finish. oily palate.
