330ml bottle from Hampstead Food & Drink. Black colour with reddish tinge, beige foam head and aroma of malt, bready. Taste is sweet malty, bready, hints of caramel & brown sugar, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, medium foamy carbonation, malty finish. OK

330ml bottle from Hampstead Food & Drink. Pale gold colour, white foam head and aroma of corn grains, wet cardboard, grass. Taste is sweet, pale malt, grainy, corn, with cardboardy notes and some metallic bitterness. Light bodied, high carbonation, dry papery metallic bitter finish. Another fairly bland lager.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Jan 22, brought by me. Pours a clear golden yellow, small white head. Big skunky nose on opening, quite a sweet taste with additional sweetcorn. Not too bad, but a touch skunky.

Bei diesem Bier habe ich mir schon eine söße Zuckerpaste erwartet. Aber es ist doch ein recht anständiges Dunkles. Es mag keine Aromenexplosion sein, aber doch durchaus gut trinkbar.
