500 ml bottle. 2020 vintage. Number one with a bullet. Opaque black brown pour. Brief beige head. Roasted malt nose with big maple syrup notes. Sweet roasted malt flavor brings notes of vanilla, maple syrup, cinnamon, melted butter and bourbon. It really tastes like French toast. Sticky sweet and boozy. Quite indulgent.

Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth Pre-GBBF 2017 tasting - London. Cheers! Bottle 850/991. Pours rich brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds burnt toast, lightly tangy dried and leathery fruits. Medium sweet flavour with some vague roast, cocoa, more dried fruits. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, some milk chocolate, ashy roast, scorched earth. Decent sauce.
