Description
Fremont Brewing was born of our love for our home and history as well as the desire to prove that beer made with the finest local ingredients β organic when possible --, is not the wave of the future but the doorway to beer's history. Starting a brewery in the midst of the Great Recession is clearly an act of passion. We invite you to come along with us and enjoy that passion -- because beer matters.

Clear amber color, small white head, some lace. Piney hoppy nose. Medium-bodied. Piney and resiny flavor. Nice pine needle-resiny fruityness in the finish. Good solid IPA.

Clear deep honeyish-golden-amber color, steady creamy off-white head. Lemony nose with hints of barnyard(!). Light bodied. Fresh grassy hops, pale malty. Dry hopped? Interesting fresh sample.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours clear coppery amber with a slight off-white head. Aroma is floral and citric. Med + body. Flavor is very hoppy - perfumey/floral and citrus over mildly roasted malt. NW twist indeed. On the right coast theyβd surely swear it was an IPA.

Sampled on tap at SIB, pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is an intense citrus hop blast with little else. Flavour is quite one-sided citrus hops, with little malt backing. Very unbalanced but it's well done for what it is.

Courtesy of riversideAK. Waxed bomber pours mahogany with tan head. The aroma is sweet smooth bourbon and some vanilla mixing with brown sugar and lingering boozy heat at the end of the draw. The taste is similar with sweet smooth thin bodied bourbon notes, sweet vanilla and some wood rounding things out. Really no beer notes noticed here but the barrel notes are smooth and still create an easy drinking experience. For my taste this could use less barrel time so I can also sense the beer too.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours orange gold with a creamy 3 finger white head. Aromas of citrus hop and 3-in-1 oil? With a deep inhale thatβs what is suggested. Med body. Flavor is fruity/citrus over some light roast caramel. Decently bitter. There is a certain oilyness, but it all finishes with a reasonable approximation of grapefruit rind.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours light amber with a creamy off-white head. Mixed evergreen and grapefruit aromas. Med body. Flavor is very mixed. Sort of a contest between pine and grapefruit rind, and the latter survives into the finish. Just excellent.

Bottle thanks to Ben! Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a light pine hope note with a hint of grapefruit and backing sweet grains. Flavor starts with light grapefruit which transitions a lighter fruit and citrus note with backing sweet grain.
