Description
Our craft beer brewery is located near Grenoble, at the foot of the three mountain ranges of Vercors, Chartreuse and Belledonne. Its location owes nothing to chance because we find here one of the best waters in France, loaded with minerals ... and history. Our brewery takes its name from our working tool (the brewing tanks) and the famous tourist cave "Cuves de Sassenage", a few kilometers from here.

opalescent pale golden colour, medium sized dense white head; aroma of orange, orange peel, wheaty-bread crusty, and slight peachy notes; hop dominant taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; correct on

33cl bottle from local Spar supermarket in Grenoble, France. Head is big, egg-white, average retention. Colour is amber, hazy. Aroma is sweet fruity, bready, bit honey, spicy touch. Taste is medium to full malty base, mellow fruity, bit spicy, caramel, soft carbonation, not bad yet quite commercial actually, enjoyed.

Very malty. Strong cereal smell and tastes which completely overwhelms the hops. Doesn't deserve to be labelled IPA. I've tried beers from third world countries which tasted far better. Purchased in Grand Bornand's Sherpa and drunk the very next day. DLUO 06/22 I know understand the moniker Dumbass of the Alp mountains. I was dumb enough to purchase this.

As Le Crétin des Alpes La Rousse d'Alpages. Slightly hazy pale amber colour, good frothy off-white head, dissipates slowly to a small layer, light lacing. Aroma light toasted malt, caramel, light red fruit, some acidity. Flavour light to medium sweet and bitter, malty, caramel, candy sugar. Medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, light malty sweetbitter finish, caramel, bit roasty, okay.

As Le Crétin des Alpes Blonde d'Alpages. Hazy medium golden, lot of small bubbles, good fizzy white head but quickly diminishing. Aroma sweet malt, lemon, grain, coriander. Flavour medium sweet and bitter, light acidity at first which disappears a bit later, malty, citrus, grain, spicy notes. A bit sharpish and short sweetbitter finish; light body, light mouthfeel, lively carbonation; maybe a bit on the thin side but all in all okay.
