Draught @ NYC Beer Week Opening Bash. Hazy/milky yellow with very small frothy whitish head, acidic aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter tart taste, thin body, long tart finish. The influence of of hops is good, but it’s mediocre in general.

NYC Beer Week Opening Bash: Pours gold with white head. Taste is not very sour... no hoppiness... not really all that much tropical fruit. This beer seems to really not match up with what they claim on the description.

Crisp, slightly hazy amber and copper coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, a light caramelised sugar sweetness and some subdued yet strongish malts that provide a mellow and nice balance. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour with a nice mellow and grassy finish along with a well-balanced malt bite and some herbal and grassy finishes. Aftertaste shows some subtle caramelised sugars,a bit of grass and a nice and bitter hoppy flavour that has quite a bit of bitterness associated and balanced relatively well by the malt. Overall, a nice and surprisingly well-balanced beer for the style that was nice to try and recommended if you can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 21-January-2017 for US$2,25 sampled at home in Washington on 13-February-2017.

Draught @ the Banter. Clear brown with reddish tint, small foamy beige head, sweetish caramel aroma, low carbonation, bitter caramelized malt taste, thin body, long bitter finish. The ’heaviness’ is not very noticeable, though the bitterness is!
