Drought at International Great Beer Expo (Meadowlands). Dark brown with smnall foamy chocolate head, whisky-mocha aroma, low carbonation, long finish with bourbon aftertaste. This is basically coffee laced with bourbon turned into a beer. Greatly enjoyable! --- Beer merged from original tick of Brewmaster's Reserve #17 Bourbon Barrel Russian Imperial Stout on 26 Jan 2014 at 09:46 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 9. 22 oz. bottle. 2010 vintage thanks to jcwattsregger. Thanks a lot John! Crystal clear amber/ gold color. Nose has a nice smooth vanilla , oak and caramel and hints of English malt. Flavor is ridiculously smooth, oaky subtle bourbon upfront with traces of vanilla, candy toffee and alcohol is totally gone. Without hyping this beer, this a top in style for my own personal ratings. Absolutely fantastic. This aged extremely well.

12 ounce bottle. Orange amber color with lots of bubbles topped by a huge rocky white head. Complex toasted malt nose with tropical fruit undertones. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor has lots of spicy, peppery hops to boot. Finish is dry, bitter and long.

Bottle thanks to John. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is roasted malt and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel with light milk chocolate and light roast nuttines in the finish. Good.

A golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with grainy notes, and British hops, OK. In mouth, a grainy biscuit malt with pungent piney hops, light cheesey notes, a bit strange. On tap at Rattle N Hum..
