Very hazy, straw-like coloured body with a relatively thick two to three centimetre tall off-white head that fades relatively quickly and leaves a thin lace on the sides. Aroma of oranges, light dry malts, some soft bitterness, but stronger yeast and breadiness in the nose. Medium-bodied; Pretty yeastie and bready malts show at first with a very grainy, earthy and rustic bite, with a slight orangey and herbal kick with definite bitterness on the end from alpha acids, but not much alcohol noticeable here and absolutely no sweetness in here at all. Aftertaste is relatively malt and yeast-forward somehow, with some slight orangey notes on the finish and even some grapefruit, but not much else in terms of complexity - and while this does show as an IPA, it's older school and bitter/dry, but just unfiltered. Overall, a nice enough IPA with real bitterness and drying qualities, a touch of oranges here, but the yeastie and breadiness seem to outweigh the other notes. Nice to try fresh-ish, but not really recommended unless you have no other options! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Glen Ro Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 25-November-2022 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 02-February-2023.

Taster pour on tap at CT Brew Fest 2024. Cloudy dark yellow with thick head, excellent retention and tons of lacing. Aroma is citrus and herb. Taste is herb dominant over milder fruit. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste w/lingering bitter.
