Goblet @Half Door. Creamy marzipan head, opaque mid brown pour. Nose is smooth & nutty, leaning on old wood & cream. Soft & delicate for a barleywine. Cream, frangipane, Hawaiian rolls, soft rind, cola, subtle bittersweet walnut finish. Very subtle acidity throughout. Frothy, but the bubbles aren't stiff. Nicely warming & easy. Excellent.

Goblet at the source. 6.5% clear, bright 14k gold. Onion, some dank & old books on the nose. Savory onion, herby hops, lime, lingering white grapefruit pith. A little catty over time. Ever slightly itchy/starchy body, but the carbonation is at 11. Good.

Goblet at the source. Very dark, but clear, russet pour; whispy lace. Starchy, subtly smoky nose. Taste is chary sharp bread crust, gentle bittersweet pine & very slight but lingering pith. Some black pepper somewhere in between there. Crispy but a little too hairy. Okay.

Short pour @ Half Door. Golden, dull & deep gold pour. Middling acid, apricot, yogurt, fruit salad. Taste is fruit punch, mostly peach & some plum. Strong acidity, light melon, back grain & subtle toast sharpness. Okay.

Goblet pour @Halfdoor. Hazy orange, neon white, stick. Super onion & sweet, honey & low acid herbage on the nose. All white grapefruit pith & sweet onion. Bitter green, unripe plum, creamed corn, leafy/unripe fruit. Medicinal. Meh. Lots of attention in the wrong direction.

Half pour at the source. Dark, russet, amber pour, mostly clear, spotty lace. Lime, earth, onion, very faint funk, macerated fruit. Bittersweet blend of pith & charry sourdough. Harsh onion & white grapefruit that lingers for days. Good.

Slight haze. Pale gold. Decent weedy, grapefruity notes. Malts are trending towards gloppy but not there yet…alcohol cuts them a bit in this particular beer.

Acetic harsh sour with a bit of apricot to it. Hazy dull pale with no head. Ok but too far into the acetic side of things for me.
