Dull gold, slight haze, no head. Earthy hops have some weedy, lemony notes. Malts are heading in a gloppy direction. They’re good still but borderline for me.

Weedy, pale, hazy, decent malt base, fairly bitter. I wouldn't say the southern hemisphere hop thing stood out to me, but still not bad.

Pours dark ruddy with a slight beige head. Aroma of plummy dark fruits. Full bodied. Flavor is darkly plummy. Not dry but not at all sticky. Something provides enough bitter for balance. Almost exquisite.

Pint glass @the source. Last beer before the plane? Oily, neipa-like consistency, with that everlasting cream-colored nitro head. Coffee scent is a mix of nutty & acidic, with a splash of vanilla wafer. Taste is smooth, very milky, like a vanilla ice cream float. Coffee takes a backseat here, but punches through just enough on the finish. Medium sweet, but probably still too much sugar for two. Texture is obvious nitro. Sort of like a still cold but melted milkshake. A little on the thin & starchy side. Tasty.

Last couple of beers before the plane. Pint glass @HalfDoor, 5.2%. Golden, oily, honeyed look. Smell is Frangelico, nutty & boozy. Taste is Nutella, cheap Nesquik powdered chocolate, whole milk, mixed nuts & super faint bitterness on the finish. A little too sweet maybe. Feel is milky, low carbonation, slightly greasy too. Not quite what I wanted.

Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Hazy yellow-orange color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lace. Herbal hops, fruit and malt aromas. Medium body with flavors of dank hops, citrus and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a grapefruit and hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear deep copper colored body that supports a lasting light tan head of foam. The aroma offers plums, raisins, a bit of dates and then thin caramel and thinner molasses notes. The taste delivers robust and bright plum, raisin and dates. To midway sweet caramel and a thin ribbon of molasses come to the surface to help create balance. Even the caramel is to bright. Into the finish spicy black strap molasses joins in. This needs to mellow and mingle for a while. It's pretty good now but will only improve with time.

CDA poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a mahogany colored body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up roasted malts, slightly nutty coffee and chocolate malts. The taste delivers a wide load of robust roastiness with dark roasted malts, coffee and then some chocolate malts. To midway it becomes a tad earthy with a nod to wet tobacco. There's a moderate level of bitter hoppiness but there doesn't seem to be much hop flavor; just vague hop bitterness. Decent offering.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a murky opaque dull gold apricot juice colored body that supports a nice white head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up orange, a hit of lime, mango and a sense of spicy almost herbals hoppiness. The taste delivers juicy citrus with tangelo, lime, tangerine and grapefruit and then softer mango cantaloupe notes. Behind the juiciness is a thin layer of spicy hop dankness. Solid. This has a pleasing flavor depth and balance with hop bitterness and juiciness at equal strengths and the soft tropical notes filling in around the edges.
