Description
We create our own beer recipes – with homemade malt (BOM means Belgische Originele Moutbakkerij or Belgian Original Maltbakery) forming the basis for a secret composition of ingredients, called a “BOM package” – that we brew according to the principles of a gypsy-brewery. The Triporteur beers are our point of departure and our basic beers. Besides those, we also launch a special beer line with once-off products.

4/IX/20 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 2/III/23 (2020-851)

Clear peach orange beer, big aery fizzy irregular off-white crackling head, falls down pretty quickly, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty fruity, peaches, bit sweet, malty, some caramel, tropical fruits, some ripe banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, pretty malty, caramel, coconut candy bar (Bounty), nice bitterness. Aftertaste: some tropical fruits, oranges, some lychee, soft bitterness, pretty malty, fruity, bit yeasty, not bad!

Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours a hazy glowy orange colour with a thinnish throthy white head. Aromas of citrus fruits and floral hops. Taste is more citrus notes, orange and some pithy bitterness on the finish. Fullish body with a very smooth mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours a hazy looking amber/orange colour with a medium sized off-white head. Aromas of citrus fruits, orange zest, peaches, pineapples, pine and a bit of spice. Taste is very similar to the aroma with the same notes again with a spicy and zesty bitter hop finish. Medium to full bodied, average carbonation and a slightly oily mouthfeel. Very fresh and zingy tasting beer. Good one.

Bottle at home. Lightly unclear yellow golden color, average sized white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is citrus hoppy, tangerine. Flavor is lightly malts, hop bitterness, citrussy again and more bitterness. Quite enjoyable, thank god there's a fair amount of bitterness in this instead of the crappy sweet NEIPA or lactose ruined IPA's that dominate the shelves these days. Lightly oily texture, pleasant average to medium carbonation. Quite well done.
