Not much in the way of hops. Subtle strawberry pairs well with the marshmallow and graham cracker - kind of like a dessert IPA.

A bit of malt beer character in the body, and a bit of bitterness from the blood orange in the finish. Fruits aren’t overpowering.

Can from 2019. A lot of the adjuncts have burned off but still get a bit of strawberry, and a nice stout regardless at its core.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Aroma is mild chocolate malt, prune, and some minerals. Flavor follows. It has a good mineral content but does show some mild booze. It is fine.

Can from Andover Classic Wines. Murky dark brown-mahogany with lots of floaties, nice sparkle, thin head and light lacing. Aroma is strong, earthy malt, toffee, molasses. Taste is strong earthy malt, brown bread, vague dark fruit. Smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation and dry finish as taste. Not as complex as advertised. Fine but not spectacular.

Aromas are straw, citrus, toffee and a bit of resin. Flavors are similar to nose with perfect balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Add in a touch of MJ. Body is kind of chewy and finish follows flavors. Nice beer.

In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light mineral notes, light roasted character, pleasant. On tap at CNY brewfest 2025.

A very appropriately named beer for this evening. The winds are coming, and it feels like we’re in the North Pole. Nice juice, a little too sweet though.

Going with meal prep, then the Leafs game, and college football National Championship.
