Another 16 oz can from a webshop I access at times. I’ve had a barleywine from the brewery that was rather all right so there is that. My snifter from unfortunately closed Buffalo Bayou is ready to go, I take the pour. I see an impenetrable, apricot colored body followed by healthy head of completely white foam. A pleasant enough smell with this beer, citrus, a light touch of hops, guava and meadow. Time to have a sample. Sweet initially but it it does not overwhelm, cedar to a small degree, peaches, enough grapefruit to present itself, white bread and pineapple. The sensation is creamy with an accompanying softness. Nice lacing. No indication of the moderately high abv. One of the best hazy IPAs I have tried recently.

On tap at Dove and Deer, Albany, NY.
Appearance: hazy burnt orange color with a slim bar pour's looking head which dissipated nicely and left small specks of lace
Aroma: pineapple-y, grapefruity and light mango-ish tones then a light clean malt backbone
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a sweet to bittersweet sort of quality; finishes sweet through a mixed tropical fruity arrangement
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; good smoothness along the tongue with low carb and low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: pretty good NEIPA I'd be willing to have again.

Mild coffee nose. Cloudy amber, wispy sediment, thin head. Coffee, tart lemon. Full body, easy carbonation. Acid and coffee do not mix for me. I'll never understand this type of beer.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some tropical hops notes and a semi-sweet finale. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some tropical notes and a semi-sweet finish. Body is full for style with a creamy feel with good carbonation with some warming fusel notes. Enjoyable triple NEIPA with nice tropical notes.

From Beer Drop, canned February 26th 2026.

Pours black with lots of tan foam, retention and lacing are excellent.

Smell is chocolate, both milk and dark, some lactose, quite sweet aromas overall. Some roasted notes.

Taste is chocolate that's sweet, light roasted malt, bit of lactose, very little noticeable bitterness. 9%abv is hardly noticeable.

Close to full bodied, smooth as silk, I have another can and look forward to drinking it.
