Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy brown with a brown head that dissipates slowly and completely. Aroma is full of coffee grinds with a nice matching roasted malt note. Flavor begins with roasted malts and is joined by a rich coffee note that is not overwhelming in anyway. Quite nice.

This IPA poured a nice amber colour with a fast living, rocky, white head. Scents include pine, lemon/orange citrus, leather and pineapple. First sip was smooth and very hoppy. Flavors of pine, tea, lemon and orange citrus. Finish is very bitter with tea and citrus flavors lingering.

Bottle (can’t be that old, so I’m not sure whats going on) shared by BA billshmeinke. Pours with a hazed orange body with a minimal white head. Aromas of orange, malt tea, faded hops, sweet, crystal malt, pine and light oxidation. Flavors are metallic, very sweet, oxidation, cardboard, strong bitterness, orange and pine. Very stale. Lively bubbles, astringently bitter finish. Not a pleasant experience.

A blonde IPA with a thin white head. Super pungeant aroma of c-hops. citra, nelson-sauvin wildness, light mandarines, quite nice. In mouth, a smooth IPA with light citra funk, nice malt, a bit of light acidity, mineral notes. Bottle from BOTW. Tasted March 12 2011 with Montreal crew.

A dark moka brown porter with a thin brown head. In aroma, a wonderful coffee beans aroma, oily with grassy herbal bitter chocolate. In mouth, a nice smooth light sweet chocolate, dryish, powdery, nice smooth resinous hops, just delicious and balanced. On tap at ROC Empire Brewfest, Feb. 19 2011.

A golden ale with a thin creamy white head. In aroma, a rather strong butterscotc with fruity esters, and caramel. In mouth, a smooth caramel malt with oily mouthfeel, nutty, so-so. On tap at ROC Empire Brewfest, Feb. 19 2011.

A dark reddish copper brown IPA with a thin creamy moka head. In aroma, nice floral citrusy hops over soy sauce and caramel malts. In mouth, a smooth sweet chocolate malt with resinous floral hops, citrusy, quite nice and enticing, oily mouthfeel, rich and smooth. On tap at ROC Empire Brewfest, Feb. 19 2011.
