750 ml bottle from Sparrow-Downtown, 11/5/15. Single Hopped with Hallertau Blanc. Murky yellowish color with a large, fizzy and frothy, off white colored head. Herbal and spice hops. Clean, fresh yeast. Flavor is minimally sweet, with lots of strong yeast flavor to go along with a strong spice component and plenty of herbal notes. Finishes rather dry. Heavily carbonated, but still decently drinkable.

Location: 750ml bottle from Sparrow - Downtown, purchased today, 10/23/15
Aroma: The aroma is sweet malts over Saison yeast, caramel, rye/spice, with fruity notes
Appearance: It pours a murky brownish color with a beige-brown head and spotty, drippy lace
Flavor: It is medium-plus sweet, solid, but I didn't get enough of the fruit or dryness described
Palate: The body is medium, leans slightly lighter, lively carbonation, and an okay mouthfeel
Overall Impression: Not my favorite of the the Transmitter beers. Something didn't work quite right with the melding of components in this one. I feel like it is close, really, I do, but it just doesn't get there for me. Too bad, I expect more from these guys when it comes to making a Saison-style offering, I know what they can do with this style.

Location: 750 ml bottle from the brewery, 10/9/15,Palindromic Rating #4884
Aroma: Floral and grassy aroma, fruity and grainy as well, with some farmhouse style funk
Appearance: A mostly clear orange color with a thick, frothy head that dissipates to a thin ring
Flavor: The taste is much the same, floral and funky, very clean, lightly sweet, and cleanly bitter
Palate: Nice, clean, refreshing feel, average carbonation, and a crisp, dry closure
Overall Impression: I generally like what these guys do with saisions and with yeast flavors in general, and this one is no exception. Flavorful, clean, and refreshing, for me, it hits all of those marks.

750 ml corked and caged bottle from Sparrow - Downtown, 9/11/15
This beer pours a golden-orange color with a large beige colored head and light, drippy lacing. The yeast here is pretty interesting, not the fruitiness that the bottle lead me to expect, but instead more of a spice forward yeast. Some clove, comes through. Light fruit shows up, but it isn't blueberry. Fairly lively carbonation. Fairly dry finish. Not bad, but I've had other Saisons from these guys that I preferred.
