Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice two to three centimetre tall tan and light brown head. Aroma of very strong roasted and toasted grains with a lot of sesame and earthy, nutty notes and some caramelised sugars as well with molasses here. Medium-bodied; Very rich roasted malt body with a lot of character and a deep earthiness showing the nuts and caramel a bit more than anything else, but a lot is strong here, including the bitterness, all from the malts. Aftertaste shows a nice creamy and earthiness with the malts again strong along with some metallic notes, a dry caramel and pungent sweetness from molasses on the end, all ending with the faintest bit of hops here. Overall, a very nice Japanese beer that is far removed from most, and showing a lot of good roasted and toasted notes that you don't typically find. Surprisingly well with Japanese food as well and was a good addition to my meal. I sampled this 33 cL can purchased from TenGoku Aburiya in Chicago, Illinois on 08-August-2021 for US$11,00 with my family while enjoying a meal.

Ljusgul och klar vätska. Lätta aromer av gräs, ört och lite deg. Lättsam maltkropp med en låg beska. Lättdrucken törstsläckare.

330ml can. Pours clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma: light smoke, coriander, orange. Taste: moderate sweet, cereal malts, not a whole lot else. Light to medium body with light carbonation. Just OK

Yo Ho Sorry White IPA 6.5% Very clear gold with a dense off-white foam. A spicy wheat and fairy full body with sweet tarts and Sorachi Ace type hop notes. Decent flavor and for less than 300¥ an alright find at Liquor Mountain.

Smell- weak malt, hops, some off smell to it, what does not give it a bonus or disadvantage.. guess I am indifirrent. Foam-hops, malt, weird notes... bitterness. Head is small, white color. Appearance - somewhat nice can Medium carbonation, cloudy yellow color. From - snifter Taste - hops, bitterness, fishy notes, I want to say salty but its not. I have no idea what is umani or the thing that was added to this. It does not improve nor ruin this. Nothing special.
