350ml @ Matt's new place. Appearance: almost clear golden with a white head. Aroma: caramel, some citruses. Taste: along the same lines, finishes with moderate harsh bitterness. Overall: meh.

Poured from 350mL can (bb 2023.10.20). Clear amber gold with small white head. Bready malt with dull citrus stone fruit hops. Clean, a bit boring.

350ml @ Matt's new place. Appearance: slightly blonde with a white head. Aroma: peppery, crispy. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: classic Belgian Saison, really good for the style.

Can. Clear, pale yellow with lace. Nose is grape, tropical fruit hops. Thin, weak body as expected. Crisp though. Sweet, floral, fruity. A bit on the strange side, but not terrible at all.

350mL can, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out gentle spicy yeast, light white pepper, toasted grains, and gentle esters. Flavour is estery and spicy, with spicy saison yeast, light pepper, estery notes, and toasted grains. The esters aren't too prominent, but are too prominent for my liking. Not convincing as a proper saison, but at least it's not a sugary mess like many American attempts at traditional saisons. It's alright.

350mL can, pours a clear bright amber with a medium beige head. Nose doesn't have a particularly pleasant hop aroma -- there's earthy hops, some light stone fruit, and some resins. Flavour is somewhat resinous and mostly just earthy in its hop presence with a bready malt backbone. Hops are lacking and seem faded, but the base beer just isn't anything special. Ordinary, pedestrian, uninteresting WC-ish pale with poor hop expression.
